Harvey Fierstin is well known as a librettist in ‘La Cage aux Folles’, as a dramatist of Torch Song Triology and an actor in Hairspray for his award winning performance (Tony Award), but he is also remarkable for his deep resonant voice.

In the episode of the series ‘how I Met Your Mother’, aired on 14th December, Fierstin’s inimitable voice was exploited for the affable Lily (acted out by Alyson Hannigan) when she resumes the habit of smoking. The ‘Last Cigarette Ever’ episode includes Josh Radnor, Neil Harris and others, the regular stars of the series.
