How I Met Your Mother is a comedy series which debut on CBS back in 2005. Created by Craig Thomas and Carter bays, the show is a situation comedy which revolves around the life of Ted Mosby.

The main character of the show is Ted Mosby, played by Josh Radnor. In the year 2030, Ted tells his son and daughter the story behind the story of how he and their mother met. Narrated by Bob Saget, Ted’s children learns how events have led their parents to met and ended up being having two children.

The plot of the show uses the present day characters, ted being already old and his children already grown up in the year 2030. Ted narrates, using the older voice version by Bob Saget, that when he was in his twenties he decided to look for his own bride after he received the news that his best friend Marshall Eriksen, played by Jason Stegel, is marrying Lily Aldrin, played by Alyson Hannigan. Ted then saw Robin, played by Cobie Smulder, and had put in mind that she is going to be his bride. Later on, Robin Scherbatsky became the mother of his children.

Also starring is Neil Patrick Harris as Barney, the know-it-all best friend of Ted.
