The acting career success of Josh Radnor, known as the lead actor in “How I Met Your Mother” actually started before the show, as he wrote and directed the Coveted Audience Awards winning movie at Sundance “Happy Thank You More Please” that appealed to the audience in Park City, Utah, the story was about a bunch of New Yorkers, young and attractive facing their life struggles and trying to manage their adulthood problems while facing romantic problems amongst each other.

As for Liberal Arts, his sophomore production, it brings Radnor back to college, as it tells the story of Radnor playing the role of an undergrad at college, Kenyon College to be exact, as for the location, it was shot at the Ohio School.

Onto the story itself, he plays a 35 years old college counsellor by the name of Jesse, and he is asked by one of his favourite professors played by Richard Jenkins to come back to attend the ceremony of his retirement, its then where he starts to engage in a life discovering trip, where he finds himself in the place of his old professor as he gives inspiration to a young student Zibby, played by Elizabeth Olsen, which of course secretly has feelings for him. The movie also features Zac Efron and Allison Janney as the hippie and his romantic professor respectively. All of the above made is grab a standing ovation from the crowd and the press at its premiere screening.
